Cafe di Napoli

I just read in the Star Tribune that Cafe di Napoli, which I had thought was shut down, is now located on the skyway level at 6th and Marquette. I have a lot of good memories of the old di Naps. Can anyone offer a fresh review? What is the new mitife look like?

I remember reading about them opening on the skyway, and I%26#39;ve walked passed it many times....

but each time it%26#39;s been closed !!

Maybe I%26#39;ll try again today.

I also have great memories of DiNapolis. We would go to the state basketball tournament every year and that would be a place that we definitely went to. I sure miss eating there! I have also heard about it being in the skyways, but haven%26#39;t ventured there.

I used to work at Cafe Di Napoli many years ago. In fact, that is where I met my husband! I was a waitress and he was a cook....

I haven%26#39;t been to their new location in the skyway, but I have heard that the previous owner Joe%26#39;s daughter Nancy owns it. She worked at the old location every day! I am sure that she kept many of the old family recipes.

My husband and I keep talking about going to eat there someday, but we haven%26#39;t made it yet.
