Anyone know the rules for buying tickets in front of the arena? Thinking about going next Sunday but not 100 % sure. Was thinking that we could buy tickets out front at a big discount based on their record. Thanks

Scalping is a common practice around these parts. I think its almost promoted. If you don%26#39;t want to risk it, hit up www.craigslist.com and search for tickets under the Minneapolis page. Someone might even pay you to take the tickets at this point!

IF yo9u want ot go to the game at a bargain: stroll by before the game, just to get the lay of the land. Go to a local bar--anyone will do, and have a beer and watch the first period on TV. THEN you go out to look for tickets.

I%26#39;m not a basketball fan, but rather a baseball fan. If Target Center is similar to the Metrodome, the rules are probably scalpers cannot sell on Target Center property, but that doesn%26#39;t rule out across the street. MN changed its law somewhat recently to allow for scalping, even above face value (not that I expect that happens a lot for the Timberwolves), so that seemed to bring a lot of new sellers, at least to Twins games. I don%26#39;t expect you%26#39;ll have troubles finding scalpers.

That said, Craigslist is a good source for tickets too.

Definitely get them on the street. There%26#39;s really no risk, considering you can go in and get the cheapy seats and move down (stealthily of course) if need be.

Just make sure you examine the ticket to make sure it%26#39;s the right opponent and day if you buy from a scalper. But hoops tickets are much more difficult to fake than basebell.

Thanks for the advice. Not really keen on buying from off the streets but not 100% sure we are going to go. Would do Criaglist but being in California may not have time to set up to get the tickets. Thanks for letting me know the scalping rules.

Got tickets today on Stubhub. Two lowers for $17 each. E-mail said that they are $100 retail each. More money to spend at the mall. LOL

Sounds like they are trying to dump tickets! Well good for you to get such a good price! Who are they playing?

Just got back from MSP. Made a mistake on tickets they were not $100 each. They were $260 each. Awesome tickets 4 rows behind the T- Wolves bench. My first time using stubhub, it went well.
