We are coming from the UK and staying at the Quality Inn %26amp; Suites in Bloomington.

Free Airport and mall shuttle and continental breakfast.

Has indoor pool and a Denny%26#39;s onsite.

Has anyone stayed at the Days Inn Bloomington?

I stayed at the Days Inn Bloom many years ago. It%26#39;s ok, not great. Nowhere near the Mall, about 6-7 miles away. I prefer to be near the Mall (ie. walkable) and that%26#39;s why I choose the Marriott. Other people have their opinions. Being near the Mall, you have the option of riding the lightrail downtown, too.

My top recommendations would be the following: The Country Inn, Fairfield, Homewood Suites and Radisson are all across the street. The Radisson is new and upscale, the Country Inn and Fairfield are both nice. The Embassy Suites Airport location is close and has a shuttle. The price will be higher at each of these hotels due to the convenient location. There are many more hotels within a mile or two. If you decide that you are open to a shuttle, the StayBridge and Country Inn Central Bloomington are within a few miles and will sometimes run good rates. Both are wonderful hotels with good service and some amenities that you don%26#39;t always find at other hotels. Have a great stay!

One more comment: I%26#39;m not sure if you are in the bidding mood, but several 3*%26#39;s have been won for low $40%26#39;s (including the Hyatt Place, Courtyard, and Park Plaza). The Sheraton is a 3.5* and had a recent winning bid of $45 for a weekend.

THis hotel definately isn%26#39;t within walking distance but I love staying here...Country Inn and Suites Bloomington West. We have always had good service at the hotel and with shuttles. There is a nice pool and hot tub and the restaurant bar has great food. Plus nearby on France Ave you%26#39;ll have access to Southdale Mall, it is a nice alternative to the Mall Of America (and it has a Cheesecake Factory).
