Does anyone know if Nye%26#39;s can accomodate a group of 40 on a Monday night in July?

I can%26#39;t imagine why not. It%26#39;s a huge place. And Mondays won%26#39;t be busy.

Be warned. Much of what makes Nye%26#39;s so popular is the live performance by the polka band on Friday and Saturday nights -- but they don%26#39;t play Mondays. And either does Lou on the piano side. But it%26#39;s still worth a visit if that%26#39;s the only day you can go. Better than most bars on a Monday.

Thanks, I had no idea how big it is. Do they have a website? I can%26#39;t find one. I%26#39;m trying to put together a fun night for a big group.

I%26#39;ve seen it up before, but for the past few years, it%26#39;s been down.

Monday nights are S L O W anywhere.

There%26#39;s a big front dining room, and then another side dining room. I%26#39;ve had a group of 30 there before for dinner after work, then drinks.

There%26#39;s even the big private room downstairs that can reserved for events.

I actually count the main dining area behind the piano area and TWO offset dining rooms upstairs and a large banquet room in the basement. Either way, it%26#39;s more space than you%26#39;d need on a Monday night. If you call you should see if you could get seated in the main room where the piano is because there%26#39;s a little more character in there. Too bad you will be missing the polka band. Joe and Ruth really put on a show. Lou does too on the piano, but I%26#39;m a polka side guy myself.

Although I do a mean Summer Wind when seated at the piano.

By the way, in the Warehouse District across the river, Monday is actually a pretty busy night at some bars. Not sure the age and intentions of your group, but Mondays can get pretty rowdy at the bars that observe Service Industry Night on Mondays. And the deals are ridiculous.

As they should be for the night out for the areas bartenders and servers.
