After all these years, it%26#39;s hard to imagine we have never done the Channy Dinner Theater.
So.. we got tix for the upcoming Patsy Cline tribute show.
We got the tix in the mail, and it indicates:
Dinner at 6
Show at 8:15
Does anyone know if that means we HAVE to be there at 6 to eat, or can we show up during that window of time to eat, perhaps 7 p.m?
It doesn%26#39;t take 2hr 15min to eat %26amp; bus the tables there, does it? It%26#39;s only 3 of us in our group.
THANKS !!
Our first Chanhassen Dinner Theater experience... questions
Have you tried calling the theater first to get answers to these questions?
You do not HAVE to be there at 6. However, the meal is a little hectic since seating is pretty tight and servers are running all over. I would get there with plenty of time to not be rushed thru your meal. You really don%26#39;t want to be eating during the show.
Personally, I would show up by 6:45 at the latest.
Our first Chanhassen Dinner Theater experience... questions
Yes, last time we went although the meal time was rather long it was a case of you either got served early and got done early or served later and got done just before the show. Service was a long drawn out affair. Mostly people seemed to arrive about 1/2 hour before door opening and congregated in the lounge area or in the lobby.
Thx
I didn%26#39;t want to call, cuz my hunch says they would want there as early as possible and spend even more on drinks. Looking for something unbiased.
We%26#39;ve been to the Chanhassen numerous times and to be sure to have a leisurely dinner, arrive no later than 6:30 for the Patsy Cline show at 8:15. The Patsy Cline show is in the Fireside Theater and for that one you are seated in a different area for your meal and then you move to the Fireside to see the show.
If it%26#39;s your first time at the Chan and you are done with your meal in plenty of time for the show, get up and look around the building to stretch your legs before the show. Enjoy!
We love outings to the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre! No, you don%26#39;t HAVE to be seated at 6. On the other hand, the entire evening is an experience. You don%26#39;t want to have to rush through dinner either.
I would recommend arriving about 6:30. There%26#39;s always a line up at 6. 6:30 would give time for the line to diminish, get seated and still enjoy a leisurely dinner before the show.
FYI, you will have the opportunity to order drinks or dessert after your meal that can be served during intermission. Their ice cream drinks are delicious :) Enjoy!
WE HAD A BLAST !!
Arrived about 6:50 and we were the last ones to eat. We ate, did desert, %26amp; post drinks, and was the last group the enter the theatre.
PATSY ROCKED !!!
I%26#39;m thinking of going again. She hit the notes spot on, as Patsy.
