Duluth to Thunder Bay Easter 2009

Three of us (three adults) are travelling to Duluth this spring. We have a flight booked from Thunder Bay to Toronto on Tuesday 14 April and are having difficulty finding direct transport there. We will have a rented car as far as Duluth but can%26#39;t find any company who will rent one way for the last leg of our journey from Duluth to Thunder Bay. We would be willing to break the journey along the North Shore overnight. Our flight leaves Thunder Bay on Tuesday morning. The only bus I could find went all over the place - back down to Minneapolis and on over to Winnipeg before getting to Thunder Bay 14 hours later! Any suggestions would be most welcome - we are at our wits end but don%26#39;t want to forfeit the pre booked flights from Thunder Bay to Toronto just yet until we see would we be lucky and find a way round it. Thanks a lot

Tough situation! The only thing I could think of is finding a private driver to take you up there, not sure if there is someone or what that would cost though!

Thank you. Something is sure to work out.

I would consider posting an ad on Duluth Craigslist.

You%26#39;re bound to find someone to make the trip for you. I%26#39;d say about 200 miles.

I%26#39;d also try calling a few of the nationally known rental car companies. I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll find one with offices in Duluth and Thundar Bay it could be dropped off with.

Call the Duluth offices directly.

I would call a cab company in Duluth and ask for a quote for a drive to Thunder Bay for 3 adults. I am sure one of the taxi companies would do it and has done it in the past.

Good luck!
