Minnesota vs seattle

You%26#39;re obviously having trouble deciding where to relocate. Have you traveled to any of the aforementioned locations? You could be on this site forever trying to figure this out online, not to mention forum fatigue for those who read your posts. Have you also tried any statistical online resources? Maybe Google ';US cities comparisons';.

I%26#39;ve stated in previous forums that they%26#39;re both great places to live for various reasons. Seattle has tremendous outdoor beauty, temperate climate and opportunities in all aspects of culture %26amp; career. It%26#39;s a progressively green leader in the states. However, it is very expensive and congested. My sisters live there and are seriously looking at relocating out of the city due to the high cost of living. One sister hates to use her car and often bikes or buses it. The other sister bought a 2nd house in the midwest because it%26#39;s so cheap and much quieter, relaxed. They also tell me it%26#39;s a common practice to tear down older or historic architecture/areas for development%26#39;s sake.

Of course with Mpls you have the downside of the cold winters. However 6-8 months of the year can be absolutely beautiful. It%26#39;s much more affordable and has a high quality of life, a strong educational system and economy, and arts and culture that compare to and often surpass those of the really large cities.

I did face the dilemma of choosing between these two cities to live, and I chose Minneapolis. I have not regrets and it affords me the opportunity to travel to great places like Seattle to visit.

I am hating MN right now so I say go to Seattle.

It is 12 degrees here.

Lame-o.

Spend a winter in Seattle and then another winter in Minnesota before you make up your mind. The best place in Minnesota to help you decide is between Bemidji and International Falls.
