Short term housing

I will be visiting the Mayo clinic for 6 weeks in May 2007. Please suggest economical short term housing (one/two bedroom with kitchen). Thanks

Try the Riverview Suites. They have one and two bedroom with full kitchen and washer/ dryer. Resonable rates. My friend is staying here while her husband has a bone marrow transplant.

There is a corporate estate that holds at least 12 people and is rented by the night or week. It is a beautiful country home that has every luxury you would expect in an executive high end home. It is on 15 wooded acres with a stream and walking trails.

They provide all essentials and much more. They are known for discretion. It is said many high profile people have retreated here while attending Mayo Clinic in secrecy. We stayed here when our father needed surgery and loved the private, quiet, beautiful home, but the greatest amenity of this estate was the ability to gather together to support all members of our family at a time when we needed each other together, not separated in small hotel rooms.
